Strawberry Cream Shortcake

MORNING!!! My birthday was last month and we always bring something sweet into my work for our birthdays!!! So since my birthday is at the beginning of June, I always like to make something with fresh strawberries!! Who doesn't love fresh strawberries and want to eat them as much as possible, since they don't last that long before they are out of season! So I came across this Strawberry Cream Shortcake......simple, sweet and creamy!!

Let's get Started!
First thing first, chop/slice up your strawberries, cube up your shortcake {I used a store bought one} and then your "cream" mixture....which is vanilla pudding mix, water, milk and vanilla and then fold in cool whip.

Now you start your layering! Start with a little spoonful of your cream mixture and then your cubed shortcake...

Then your strawberries...

Then just keep your layers going in that order! Cream, shortcake and Strawberries!

YUM!!! It is so refreshing and summery!!

Ingredients:

1 large Sara Lee Pound cake
1 5.1 ounce package of vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
one 12 oz container of cool whip
2 cups of strawberries hulled and sliced

Instructions:
Slice cake very thin and cube. In a mixing bowl combine pudding, water, milk and vanilla mix with an electric mixer. Fold in cool whip. In a trifle bowl put a small amount of the pudding mixture in the bottom of the bowl. Add a layer of strawberries then a layer of cream. Continue layering ending with a layer of the pudding and top with strawberries. Refrigerate until well chilled!
Enjoy!!!
