Cheesy Sausage and Pepper Skillet
I needed a simple, hearty Saturday evening meal....we had things going on during the day and I wanted something simple. So I started browsing through the pantry and the cabinets. I came across a box of Macaroni & Cheese the deluxe version.
So I flipped the box around, there is always a recipe on it to spice up your macaroni! Sure enough this one sounded pretty tempting! Luckily enough I had some sausage in the freezer. So we tired it out!!
Cut up your sausage, peppers and onions and throw them in your pan, cook them till sausage is done and veggies are soft.
Next add your milk, water and noodles
Bring to a boil and then simmer until noodles are cooked
Next add your cheese sauce and mix until blended!
Done!
What You Need:
1 lb. mild Italian sausage
1 small onion, sliced
1 each small green and red pepper, cut into strips
2 cup milk
1 cup water
1 pkg. (13.1 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Four Cheese Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
Make It:
COOK sausage and vegetables in nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 10 min. or until sausage is done, stirring occasionally.
ADD milk, water and Macaroni; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 8 to 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
STIR in Cheese Sauce until well blended.
