Roasted Brussel Sprouts

We love Brussel Sprouts! I normally just boil some water and then add them and cook until soft. Drain the water an add some butter. But I have seen and heard of a lot of people roasted them. An it sounds amazing!!
 
 
I chopped mine in half and stuck them in a zip bag
 
Add your salt, pepper, garlic salt and oil to the bag
 
Give her a good shake and then toss on a greased baking sheet 
 
 YUM!
 

 Bake for 20-25, or until softened
 
 Flipping them half way through
 
 They are so full of flavor....sweet, toasty and soft!
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 pound brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut a thin slice off the stump of each brussels sprout and remove any loose or old leaves on the outside of each sprout.
  2. Slice each of the brussels sprouts lengthwise.
  3. Toss in the oil and spread out on a baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the brussels sprouts.
  5. Bake in a 400F oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
