Homemade Beefaroni

This recipe is crowd-pleasing and super-easy homemade beefaroni recipe that is tasty and frugal. It is also super kid friendly! It's ready in under 30 minutes! 
 
Who doesn't love a meal you can make...have plenty of leftovers, even freeze it, its quick and easy, kid friendly ANNNDDD it's easy on the wallet?!?!!? I mean that's like a no brainier and a winner, winner, chicken dinner {even though this is beef ;) }
 
Let's get started!
 
 
Ingredients: Ground beef, Noodles {I used elbow}, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, rosemary and red pepper flakes. An of course salt and pepper
 
Start with browning your beef with all your seasonings and cooking your noodles in a separate pot.
 
Add tomato sauce and paste to your beef
 
Drain your noodles and add them to your sauce/beef mixture
 
Sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese!


Ingredients
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • ½ tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 14 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 pound of macaroni noodles

Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni noodles according to the instructions on the package.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and add in the all of the spices. Make sure the ground beef is fully cooked.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and tomato sauce. Simmer on low for about 10-12 minutes or until the noodles have finished cooking.
  4. Stir in the noodles.
  5. Serve with Parmesan cheese (optional)
