Dilly Chicken Sandwich
This recipe I adapted from my Mother-In-Law! They are so tasty and easy to whip together.
Start with pounded out chicken breasts. Melt 3-4 TBS. butter in a pan, add garlic and 1/2 of the dill. After butter is melted and garlic is sautéed, add your chicken breasts. Cook until juices run clear.
Mix together cream cheese, lemon juice and remaining dill, set aside
Using remaining butter, Butter both sides of the sliced French Bread and grill until golden brown
On one side of the slice of bread spread some of your cream cheese mixture and the other slice layer lettuce and tomato and then a piece of your chicken breasts.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded out
6 TBS. butter divided
1 garlic clove, minced
1 TBS. Fresh Dill Weed, divided
8 slices of French Bread 1/2" thick
8 TBS Cream Cheese softened
3 tsp. Lemon Juice
Lettuce
Sliced Tomato
Serves 4
